This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Backgammon (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it on Android and iOS. We designed the App to be enjoyed without creating an account or providing any personal details to us directly. Please read this policy carefully.
Summary: We do not ask you to sign in and we do not collect names, emails, or contact lists. Your game progress and settings stay on your device. The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve ads. Where required by law, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region that requires it, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form the first time you launch the App. Your choice determines whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads. You may change your choice later; where available, a consent option can be reset by reinstalling the App.
On iOS, the App requests permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before any tracking identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized advertising. If you decline, the App continues to work and shows non-personalized ads.
With your permission, the App schedules local reminder notifications on your device (for example, to invite you back to an unfinished match). These are generated entirely on your device; no notification data is sent to us. You can disable them in your device’s system settings.
The App is a general-audience board game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is configured to request only age-appropriate ad content. If you believe a child has provided information through advertising, please contact us and we will work with our ad partner to address it.
Local data remains in the App’s private storage on your device for as long as the App is installed. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Ad-related data handled by Google is retained per Google’s policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves or as laws change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
